The School
Any art form traverses through time only due to those who are able to imbibe it and dedicate their being to it. With a strong belief that Bharatanatyam is a blessing, Guru Vidushi Dr. Manasa Kanti has moulded herself into an ace artist and performer, under the guidance of Karnataka Kalathilaka Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar. Her thirst for knowledge has led her to complete the Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance under the tutelage of Padmashree Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam. Her growth mindset allows her to learn and evolve constantly and has manifested in her ability as a performer.
With the intention of paying forward everything that she had learnt from her teacher and more, Manasa established Natya Sampada School of Dance as a space to educate young minds. At Natya Sampada, Manasa pays specific attention to the all-round development of her pupils in addition to imparting quality education in Bharatanatyam. Currently training almost a 100 students of various age groups, Natya Sampada has paid specific attention to guide approximately 500 students who have walked through their doors, into able dancers.
It is important for us at the school that we maintain the sanctity of the art form while teaching it to young minds and still make it possible for them to relate with the importance of learning and growing as a dancer. The students are trained in a classroom setting by an able body of faculty led by our Director Manasa Kanti herself. We believe that every student has their own style and strengths, and that it is important to recognise and hone it in order to make sure that we learn from our students every time they learn from us.
Our students in turn strive every day to master the art and recognise that the learning never ends. This growth mindset has led them to perform exceptionally well at exams, competitions and other performances, where they have always made us proud.
The Founder

It all began when she started as a disciple of Kendra Sangeeth Natak Academy Awardee, Karnataka Kalathilaka Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar at the young age of 5. She has always been devoted to her teacher and her thirst for knowledge has manifested in her ability as a performer. With the intention of paying forward everything that she had learnt from her teacher and more, Manasa established Natya Sampada as a space to educate young minds. At Natya Sampada, Manasa pays specific attention to the all-round development of her pupils in addition to imparting quality education in Bharatnatyam. Currently training more than 100 students of various age groups, Natya Sampada has paid specific attention to guide approximately 500 students who have walked through their doors, into able dancers.
Over the years, her expressive demeanor of dancing has been recognised and applauded by many critics and senior dancers. Receiving the Fellowship from the Department of Culture (Ministry of HRD) and scholarships for dance and nattuvangam from the Karnataka government are testament to the fact that she is as talented as she is hardworking. She is an "A" grade artist with Doordarshan and has the credit of being invited to perform at all major festival based features from Bangalore Doordarshan.She is also an examiner at the CBSC EXAMS BOARD ,KARNATAKA EXAMINATION BOARD for dance exams. She has been felicitated by many other reputed institutions. She has also toured the USA and UAE where her performances were greatly applauded. she has been awarded the title “NATYOPASAKI” by her Guru, for her consistent contribution to the field of dance, during the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of her alma mater.INDIAN EMPIRE UNIVERSITY has titled her as BHARAT KALA RATNA in July 2021.She has been awarded the titles NATYA KUSUMANJALI ,SHREEGANDHA SAMSKRUTIKA SOURABHA PRASHASTI. ARYABHATA INTERNATIONAL AWARD ,NATYA SHREE AWARD , RAGHAVENDRA SADBHAVANA PRASHASTI.She has DOCTORATE from IEU ,Tamil Nadu and working as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR and RESEARCH SCHOLAR at VWU , FLORIDA of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Apart from being an accomplished Bharatanatyam and Kathak artiste Manasa has also worked as a RADIO JOCKEY with RED FM 93.5, as a VIDEO JOCKEY with UDAYA TV, as a SCRIPT WRITER and ANCHOR with ZEETV Kannada, as a REGIONAL MANAGER at Paytm and as a PROGRAM PRODUCER and ANCHOR at SUDDI TV news channel. She also has acting and script writing credit for various brand advertisements. She had some exciting opportunities to act in a very popular kannada serial "Jothe jotheyali" and a detective thriller movie "Ondanki Kaadu" .
She has also been invited to participate in panel discussions on various TV channels and her views and eloquent communication have been greatly lauded.
Being an ENGINEERING degree holder (ECE) from VTU ,
Her creative instinct led her to pursue MASTER'S DEGREE in DANCE under the able guidance of guru PADMASHREE Dr.PADMA SUBRAMANIYAM from SASTRA UNIVERSITY, ,a Diploma in interior designing from Nitte school of Design and a Diploma in Choreography from Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography. With the mindset that learning never ends She is also continuing her training in Kathak under the guidance of Guru Manasa Joshi. Manasa’s flair for signing has made her to continue her training in Carnatic Music under the able guidance of Dr.Meenakshi Ravi. She is a certified yoga instructor certified by the Yoga Institute, affiliated to the Ayush Ministry of Health.
Even while juggling these many varied career paths, Manasa’s dedication and professionalism have enabled her to excel in all of them. As a devoted dancer, teacher and choreographer and her dedication to the art shows through the success of her many creations on stage.
The Team
With the right combination of nurturing and passion for the art, Natya Sampada's most dedicated senior students, under the leadership of Guru Manasa have evolved into a dance ensemble that brings her vision to life on stage. Coming from various personal and educational backgrounds, they are united by their passion for the art form and their gratitude towards their alma mater for having shaped their journeys so far. The core team of Natya Sampada is committed to spreading the joy of dancing to art lovers by performing at dance festivals and other events hosted by various reputed organisations. They have had the privilege of performing for audiences not just within the country, but overseas as well.
Off stage, the team is instrumental in organizing and managing all productions and events hosted by Natya Sampada. From being active members of the faculty body to representing Natya Sampada at various youth festivals, corporate events and examinations, the team does it all.
