| 1967-Panshikar
came together with a close friend and Actor Director from the
Gujarathi Theatre, Mr. Kanti Madia, and launched the Gujarathi
Division of 'Natya Sampada'. This Division started off with
a Gujarathi version of 'Ashrunchi Zaali Phule' (Atamne Ojhalma
Raakhma).
Panshikar
performed his role of Principal Vidyanand with his usual aplomb
even in the Gujarathi version. This division later went on
to produce excellent quality dramas like 'Ame Barafna pankhi',
Mrigjal Sinchine Ame uchheri ek Vel', 'Koi Bhintethi Aaina
Utaro', 'Baan Shayya' etc. The Division is active till today.
Panshikar
got the play 'To Mee Navech' translated into Kannada, and
himself studied the Kannada, language to achieve the required
fluency. Then he actually launched the play commercially as
'Avanu Nanalla' and played his usual role in Kannada!
Around
this period, Panshikar had to be undergo eye surgery and suffered
a massive heart atack, but recovered and plunged again into
his Acting and Production with his patent zeal.
